While we may not be quite ready to say goodbye to our 8th grade Bulldogs, it is an important time for them to make choices about High Schools, Course Requests and planning for 9th grade. Here is information we have received from our local feeder High Schools:

Hello Spartan Class of 2027!

Skyline High School is looking forward to welcoming you to the 2023-2024 school year! For students and families, the preparation for the 2023-2024 school year begins with the start of the Course Request Process (CRP).  Below you will find important information about upcoming CRP dates. You will be receiving an E-News and Skyward message with more information, including Zoom links.  

Wednesday March 1

Current 8^th Grade Course Request Student Presentation will be shown during BBT
(pre-recorded by Skyline staff) 

4:00pm: Skyward will open for Course Request Process

6:00-8:15pm Incoming 9^th Grade Student & families
Welcome Night at SHS (in-person)

Thursday March 2

5:00-6:30pm: Parent CRP Zoom Presentation + Q&A

Friday March 3

11:20-11:50am & 12:15-12:45pm
Student Q&A for with SHS Counselors in school 

Tuesday March 7

5:00-6:00pm: Q&A Zoom for Parents with SHS Counselors

Thursday March 9

Gibson Ek High School Information 

For application and enrollment information, please visit the Gibson Ek website. Applications are open from January 4th through February 28th and students are selected for admission by a lottery that is held on March 2nd.

Students and their families are also invited to attend our Gibson Ek Open House on February 1st from 5:00-6:30 PM where students can tour the school, meet students and staff, and decide if they would like to apply to Gibson Ek and join the movement to reimagine education.
