Keeping Backpacks Light and Learning Bright

There has been a recent uptick in students bringing items to school that do not apply to schoolwork or extracurricular activities. As a reminder, students should only bring items to school that are for either academics or extracurricular activities.

Non-academic items should be stored in backpacks or lockers during the school day and not cause a distraction to the learning environment. Additional bags, purses or other items resembling a bag/backpack should be kept in lockers during the school day.
