Beaver Lake Middle School hosted the Eastshore Jazz Festival on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Eleven schools from the Eastside Region (Issaquah School district, as well as other neighboring school districts) performed for recognized Jazz clinicians and then were schooled in follow-up break-out sessions, based on the feedback received.
As well as performing in the festival, the BLMS Jazz Band students welcomed and accompanied visiting groups of students & visitors around the building flawlessly throughout the morning. Go Bulldogs!
Band Teacher Mike Murphy organized the event this year, and said "We were so proud to host a full Jazz Festival this year and welcome so many teams. Thank you to all my Jazz Band students for their help during the day."
