Bulldogs Travel to Portland for BPA Regional Science Bowl!

Team of students at BPA Regional Science Bowl

On February 3, ten students from Beaver Lake Middle School traveled to Portland OR, to compete in the BPA Regional Science Bowl. While our two teams did not place this time, we are very proud of all their accomplishments. It takes courage to compete against peers and a willingness to push oneself beyond comfort levels, which speaks volumes about our students' passion for science.

While our team members may not have secured a top placement this time, at BLMS we teach that success is not always measure by winning alone. The knowledge each have gained, the skills they learned and the friendships they created will be an experience that will last a lifetime.

"We are very proud of their accomplishments and look forward to seeing continued success in all their future endeavors," said Mrs. Biswell.

Congratulations also to Mrs. Betty Biswell, Science Teacher, on our first ever participation in the Science Bowl.  You were an amazing coach to everyone & we thank you for everything you do for our students at BLMS!
